Our favourite hairstyle from September
Autumn-winter 2013-2014 looks set to be full of hairstyles that are both elegant as they are refined. Hair is flawless without sacrificing spontaneity. Here’s a look at the hairstyle you need to face the new season.
Wavy lengths, volume on top, side-swept… We saw these trends last season, and this autumn they’re back in one single hairstyle. The hairstyle seen on the Hermès catwalk fuses sophistication, romance and glamour. An all-purpose hairstyle suitable for a day at the office or a night out with friends.
To copy this hairstyle, start by parting your hair on the side of your choice. Create waves using your curling tongs, or head to a Jean Louis David salon for the wavy treatment. Your waves should be loose and start at the mid-lengths. Keep volume on top to avoid preventing movement.
Once you’ve created your waves, pull your hair over to the side on which your hair isn’t parted. Side-swept styles offer a chic, feminine touch. To keep the style in place, spray a layer of hairspray across your hair.
