"I was invited to a summer party and the theme was "Black and White". Rather than copying everyone else and going for a black top and white bottoms, I decided to
colour my hair. So that I didn’t get bored of it (and so I didn’t shock my colleagues!) I decided to use a temporary silver spray."
I have
really brown hair, so the contrast between my base colour and the coloured spray would have been quite striking, and I wanted something elegant for the party. I decided to
backcomb my hair on top to create a
graphic-looking quiff. I then tied it up into a
neat chignon. To hold the style in place I used hairspray. That’s when the colour comes in.
I sprayed my silver
hairspray across my whole hair, focusing on the top of my hair to create a striking contrast with my base colour. Not only did the product fix my hairstyle in place, but it gave me a wonderful grey colour. Luckily, the spray washes out with one wash! Pleased and confident about the result, I went to the party and the colour got a great reception!"
