Hairstyle
My hairstyle to get autumn off to a bohemian start
While it’s perfect when the sun is shining and you’re on holiday, the boho vibe can also accompany you through autumn. Though the days are getting colder and your trousers are getting longer, loose chignons and wavy hairstyles are still very much in. Follow our hairstyle idea to keep the summer spirit alive, in your hair at least!
Autumn-winter 2013-2014 looks back to the past for inspiration: full-bodied 50s curls and retro ponytails are everywhere. But to greet autumn with style and femininity, channel the Victorian times. Guaranteed to provide a refined and romantic feel for a gentle transition into this new season.
Ideally, you’ll need mid-length to long hair to make sure your hairstyle stays in place. After washing your hair, create a neat middle parting. Roll the right-hand side of your hair back on itself to create a twist. Do the same on the left-hand side. Join the two twists together to create a low chignon. Secure in place using hair grips. Apply a layer of hairspray to finish.
