Fringes come in all lengths
A fringe can be used to bring a personal touch to a hairstyle, to vary the styling or to simply keep up with the latest trends. But among the various types of fringes, which one is your favourite?
Full fringe. This is the one we like to hide behind to give the impression of a mysterious woman… Ideally, it should reach the top of the nose and be slightly thinned so it can remain flexible.
Thinned fringe. It should go down as far as your eyebrows, allowing you to have a clear view and flexibility with a naturally dishevelled effect. This fringe is also ideal for a romantic or bohemian look as it has the effect of softening your facial features. When it is a little longer, you can go for a wavy look by using mousse to put in some gentle waves and putting it to the side.
Short fringe. There are two options here. You can refine your face with a straightened version, or you can make it rounded to give yourself a glamorous 1950s pin-up look.
Side-swept fringe. This is surely the most commonly worn fringe. The side-swept fringe suits everybody and is easily styled by hand with the help of a hair dryer, for a very natural result. It is slightly layered and leans to whichever side you prefer.
