The autumn-winter 2013-2014 version of the dip-dye
Autumn-winter 2013-2014 has some great surprises in store with the dip-dye, particularly for those of you who have never dared give it a go. This season, the dip-dye is more subtle and varied. Those who have already been persuaded can change colour, while the more reluctant of you out there can finally give it a go!
The subtle version of the dip-dye. Have you found the dip-dye too bold for you up until now ? Now’s the time to give it a go with a more subtle version. Over the next few months, the dip-dye is set to look more like ombré hair, with a less clean cut transition between the colours. This is thanks to more contrasting transitions that are better distributed between lighter and darker shades.
The lift color, a Jean Louis David exclusive. At Jean Louis David, the trend is the opposite of the dip-dye. Rather than going for darker sections with lighter ends, the opposite is true. To be bang on-trend this season, opt for light roots and darker ends. To enhance your style, the technique features more varied colours. The colour gets gradually lighter towards the top of the hair.
Adopt the autumn-winter 2013-2014 version of the dip-dye. To really bring out the different nuances in your hair, consider layers. Layers will accentuate the gradual change in tone. Your style is enhanced while your colour is consistently radiant.
Looking after your dip-dye. At home, use products for coloured hair. There’s no better way to keep your colour looking radiant.
