Hair colouring

Elodie's most radical hair change

“I’ve often fancied changing my hair colour. But the upkeep it requires always puts me off. Going to the hairdresser’s to get your roots done takes time and costs money. And I rarely have both at the same time! But this doesn’t mean I’ll say no to colouring my hair all together. I just need to find the colour that suits me.

For a successful, custom result, I won’t be trying it at home. I want a professional to take care of my hair to avoid any mishaps. Especially since it’s my first time. When I go to the salon, I explain straight away that I want a bright colour that doesn’t require too much upkeep!

To avoid the root effect, I’m thinking about the streak technique or the trendy dip-dye method. The dip-dye technique has really caught my eye. I find this colouring technique is modern and pretty, and it’s easy to maintain. So I’ve decided to lighten my mid-lengths and ends for a trendy dip-dye effect. With this temporary colour I don’t have to go to the salon every month to have my roots done. I just have to use products for coloured hair at home and visit my hairdresser every now and then to boost the highlights for a pretty colour. Just what I’m after!
