The short layered fringe
The summer season marks a return of the short layered fringe. A lot easier to wear than it seems, this is the perfect solution for women looking for a trendy, easy-to-maintain hairstyle.
The trend. The short fringe with layers gives hair movement and balance. Say goodbye to the heavy effect of thick, blunt fringes. This season it’s all about being natural and free! Just a few centimetres long, the short layered fringe adds structure and softens facial features.
Who can wear it? Particularly flattering for fine-boned faces, the short fringe goes with any haircut: long or short, up or down, the short layered fringe shows off your face and modernises haircuts. Wearing your hair down with the short layered fringe allows you to enjoy the contrast between lengths, while wearing it in a chignon allows you to work a tomboy vibe.
How to style it. Windswept, as if after a wind storm! Often cut in a circular fashion, it follows the front hairline. The short layered fringe is fine and flexible, meaning you can style it however you want! Use hairspray to hold in place. But use sparingly to stop your hair going stiff!
