The retro blow-dry is ideal for girls with mid-length hair. ‘The longer your hair, the more difficult it will be to make your curls hold. Shoulder length locks are the optimum length for this look. There are several different techniques for creating a retro blow-dry. ‘The only difficult part is creating your curve in the correct place. Prepare your hair with a small amount of Brush Cream. Straighten your lengths, curving inwards towards the ends for a flicked-in effect. A round barrel brush may help. The second option is to create big, bouncy curls with the help of a curling iron. After styling, brush out gently with a soft brush. A final technique is to use Velcro rollers. Apply mousse before styling to add volume, then roll damp sections of hair up into your rollers and allow to dry naturally’.
