Streetstyle: the structured bob
Autumn-Winter is the perfect time to shake up your wardrobe and perk up your hairstyle. There’s nothing better than spending all summer lounging in the heat, then visiting your salon, chopping off those dead ends and opting for a whole new look. Why not give the structure bob a go this season? This look is a timeless classic that never seems to date, opening up your features and giving your whole outfit a structured feel.
Her hair. Styled into a picture-perfect bob. Her hair has been cut into a jaw-length style without layers. The structured style and blonde highlights add to the polished feel of this hairstyle. After returning from her summer vacation, out streetstyle wearer today decided to chop off her long locks and bring out the natural highlights created by the sun. She booked into her salon and her stylist suggested a modern style which would frame her face, including some Contrast highlights to illuminate her post-holiday glow. The perfect combination we say!
Her look. Both rock-inspired and feminine. She’s making the most of her summer tan with a short, pastel-toned skirt and sleeveless top. To keep any chills at bay, she’s slung a biker jacket over her shoulders. Statement sunnies and killer heels complete her ladylike look.
Tip of the day. Always ask for your stylist’s advice before going for a bob hairstyle. Some face shapes will be beautifully framed, whilst others might only need a few layers around the face to achieve the same effect. Don’t be a slave to the latest trends…you can always pick and choose the elements that suit you best!
