Streetstyle: backcomb your hair for some sixties volume
Her hairstyle? Our model has fabulous curls, which she has accentuated with volume worthy of a famous 60s icon. To get the look, use curling tongs! Work with fairly wide sections from the mid-lengths to the ends. For the upper section of your hair, create this volume by backcombing the inside of your hair using a comb to push it to the roots.
Her look? Our streetstyle of the day is sporting an elegant look with hints of colour. Revealing a black lace top under her grey suit, she teams her outfit with brighter coloured shoes and a handbag, both in purple to provide a contrast with the drab Parisian skies. Nothing works better than a hint of colour to boost an understated look. To cope with the still cold temperatures, this fashionista has opted for opaque black tights.
Tip of the day. People with fine hair often find it difficult to make the backcombed effect last. To solve this issue, apply styling mousse to add texture. To make the effect last even longer, spray hairspray across the whole style.
