Long, flowing hair

Share
One of the key trends for spring/summer 2012, and undoubtedly one of the sexiest, is long, flowing hair. Hair is left to fall naturally (or so you might think!) over the shoulders to create a sensual, chic style.

Long, flowing hair. A sophisticated down-do for fairy-tale hair: this long-flowing hair style will make you look a million dollars. Easy to do, this style looks fantastic on long hair. Perfect this natural look for your summer parties.

How can I get this style? Apply 3 or 4 doses of texturizing or volumizing mousse to wet hair. This will protect your hair’s fibres and give your hair that extra oomph. Start by towel-drying your hair upside down for maximum effects, then blow dry your hair using a round brush to leave your hair nice and bouncy. To do this, separate your hair into sections and roll up pieces of hair using the brush. Always start with the bottom section of your hair.

Next, create a side-parting and get your curling tongs ready. Choose a large diameter for bigger curls. Roll large pieces of hair around the tongs, hold for a few seconds and release. Repeat this throughout your hair from the mid-lengths to the ends and fix with a layer of hair spray.

Remember, the long, flowing hair look does not have to be curly! If you prefer, simply let your hair fall over your shoulders after blow-drying for a natural and sophisticated look.
