A long layered cut for a bohemian look

Short hair is not the only trend this season! Long hair is making itself known as a stylish way to have a natural and bohemian style.

Long hair remains a trendy option, providing you keep it thick right at the tips to maximise volume. To have this hippy chic look, you will need some help from pastes to style your natural waves.

Creating waves. This is a good idea if you want to stick to the bohemian chic trend. There are two options available. The first is to create waves with a wide barrel curling iron. The wider the barrel, the larger the curl will be, making it look more like a wave. The other option, which is easy to do yourself, consists of plaiting your hair when dry or slightly damp before going to bed. In the morning, comb it out with your fingers and your waves will be perfect!

Completing your bohemian look. You should work on your hair vertically. For thin hair, it is best to use a mousse designed to increase volume and give structure to curls. For softer and thick hair, use a curl definer for a natural looking result. Then style all your hair by doing large vertical sections.

Taking care of long hair. Long hair requires particular attention and care. Don’t wash it every day; two or three times per week should be enough. For curly hair, use a hydrating shampoo to nourish it (link to Urban Care 100% Hydra range). Still, you can humidify your hair every day using styling products. Styling spray in particular can be useful (link to Urban Style Design Spray), which improves volume and movement.
