Hair colouring
Laura’s most radical hair change
“I’ve always loved my hair colour. My blond hair has always given me that sweet and innocent look that you just can’t fault. But one day I decided to have a bit of fun and add a bit of colour. Nothing too dark, something that would wash out easily and bring out my rebellious side.
When I decided to go for a pastel colour, I knew I’d have to head to the salon to ask my hairdresser for some advice. As I’d chosen a risky colour, I didn’t want to do it on my own at home! As I have a fairly light base colour, I knew that the colouring process would be fairly easy. We had a little chat about the result I was after and then decided on a baby pink! Just like this seasons catwalk colours. What better way to add a little colour to your life in autumn!
Although my coloured hair requires a lot of upkeep, I absolutely love the result. I use shampoos and products for coloured hair to keep it hydrated and give the colour a bit of radiance. If I get bored of it one day, all I have to do is let my hair grow out for a colourful dip-dye! Or go back to my blond thanks to my hairdresser’s colouring techniques. We’ll have to wait and see. But for now I’m enjoying the new me!”
