Honey blond
Honey blond looks to be one of this winter’s must-have colours. Bright without being white, this tone is perfect for anyone looking for a colour that fuses rock and feminine influences.
The trend. While lots of women think of blond as a summer colour, it’s making a big entrance for the 2013-2014 autumn-winter season. All the trend-setters are wearing honey blond loud and proud this season. This shade of blond is the perfect balance between lighter blonds, such as ice blonde, and darker blonds, such as ash blond. Honey blond is an ideal way to add brighten up your hairstyles during the fresher months!
Honey blond, who is it for? Anyone who fancies it! Thanks to its fairly all-purpose shade, it works on both dark base colours looking to go lighter and light base colours after something a bit warmer. What’s more, this colour offers a healthy glow for people with fair skin and is the perfect complement for more olive skin. Honey blond requires only limited bleaching, which means it doesn’t damage your hair as much as other blonds.
However, people with a dark base colour should be prepared to have their colour done regularly. You’ll need to get your roots done as your hair grows out in order to avoid too striking a contrast.
