Your post-swim hairstyle
The sunny days are back and all you want to do is dive into a swimming pool. However, plunging your head into chlorine-filled water can often result in dry, dehydrated hair. To protect yourself from the chlorine, avoid getting your hair wet. If you can’t, then here’s the post-pool attitude to adopt!
Before your swim you often have lots of good intentions. The first is, quite simply, to do some exercise. The second is to leave with completely dry hair. But accidents (or a strong urge to dunk your head under water) happen so quickly that you often end up in the shower needing to wash your hair.
Rinse your hair then wash with a gentle shampoo. This will get rid of chlorine and its smell. To style your hair, rub a small amount of gel between the palms of your hands and run them through your hair, pulling it back as you go. Concentrate more on the top of your head, less on the mid-lengths and ends. This will give you the perfect wet look to leave the swimming pool in style.
