Winning combo: fringe and braided crown
Let’s take a closer look at this combo which was spotted on the Valentino Spring-Summer 2015 runway at Paris Fashion Week…
The trend. A wide braided crown which wrapped around the entire head. A few strands came loose here and there for a messy vibe. As for accessories, fresh flowers were strategically placed for a bohemian twist on this natural-looking trend. Only a curtain fringe hung loose from this style, slightly rounded to focus all of the attention onto the eyes.
Who can wear this duo? This style was made for you if you’re a fan of romantic-chic and relaxed looks. This practical updo opens up the wearer’s face and will keep your hair out of your way all day long, making it ideal for the summer months. Give it a go for a day at the beach, at work or even for your next night out with friends.
Step-by-step tutorial. You’ll need long hair to perfect this look. Start with freshly-washed and dried hair. Next, isolate the fringe area and leave to dry naturally. Begin to French braid from one ear to the next, gradually incorporating more hair. Once complete, gently tug on small areas of your braid for a more natural look. Finish with a layer of hairspray for a long-lasting hold.
