Streetstyle: the messy side bun
Her hairstyle. Long, chestnut locks broken up with lighter highlights. She’s secured her lengths into a low chignon which she has styled to one side. A few loose strands have escaped for a messy, mussed-up feel. She’s chosen to create a low side-part and has swept her hair over to the same side to maximize volume! The end result is both bohemian and natural.
Her look. Her outfit has a distinctly rock-n-roll feel. A black jacket and open shirt in an oversized fit make this look relaxed. Slim-fit jeans and a boyfriend shirt combine with leather boots for a tough, masculine touch. A tan handbag completes her look whilst a nude make-up look keeps things simple.
Tip of the day. If you don’t have enough volume to create this chignon, lightly backcomb your roots by combing backwards. Finally, apply Leave-In Foamer and Texture just before styling into your chignon to add body and movement.
