Streetstyle : How to wear the topknot chignon
Her hairstyle ? Originally, today’s “streetstyle” has mid-length hair with a curtain fringe. Today, her hair is turned into a chic topknot chignon. To avoid her hairdo from looking too strict , she deliberately left out a few loose strands of hair . To achieve the chignon, tie your hair in a pony-tail on top of your head with an elastic band. Then , wrap your hair around the elastic band and secure your bun with a second elastic band. Keep pins handy to fix some bits and voila !
Her look? A very eclectic silhouette. Today’s “streetstyle” is all about mixing different print! She matched her purple toned top with a faded orange skirt. To keep warm, she opted for a green jacket with a black collar. To finish this highly colorful look, she’s sporting multi-colored sneakers and a shoulder bag. A look worthy of a rainbow!
Tip of the day. To make sure the high chignon holds all day, use some hairspray. But make sure to use hairspray that is easily removable because if you feel like letting go of the bun there should be no traces of hairspray!
