After spending summer abroad on sunnier shores, blondes often want to enhance their sun-kissed highlights when they get back home. This winter however, there’s a new color trend on the horizon. A darker shade of blonde is much more on-trend for this season. Let’s take a closer look.
 
The dark-blonde color trend. Dark blonde is less girly and sweet than ice-blonde shades, however it’s just as attractive. This sandy tone is simple to achieve, no matter what your natural base color, and is easy to maintain. Often confused with light-brown, dark blonde is slightly different. This particular shade features lots of lighter shades which blend into darker tones.
 
Who can wear this color? This look is just about perfect for anyone and everyone. Make sure that you ask your stylist for some professional advice first, as the process will be very different for women with light blonde hair to those with black locks. This honey-hue is perfect with any hairstyle, however looks best paired with soft waves which pick up the highlighted sections beautifully. Which make-up is best suited to dark-blondes? Considered a soft color, dark blonde should be worn with lightweight, pared-back make-up. For a daytime look, less is always more.
