3 ways to rock wet-look locks this winter
Thought that wet-look hair was for summer only? Think again! The last few fashion weeks have all featured wet-look hairstyles that were made for the winter months. Let’s take a look at the best 3 ways to wear your wet-look locks this season!
The chic version. Why not opt for a wet-look chignon? Get the look by brushing your hair backwards, then distribute a small amount of gel throughout. If you’d rather not create a stiff-looking style, try backcombing your roots beforehand for a softer finish. Secure your locks into a ballerina chignon for an elegant and sophisticated style.
The casual take. If full-on wet-look isn’t your thing, why not try a half and half effect? This is the best compromise available for those who aren’t keen on all-over damp locks. The idea? Texturize your roots with gel to get that just-stepped-out-of-the-ocean effect whilst keeping your lengths and ends dry. This hairstyle is perfect for any occasion and is especially handy for a more casual look, even suitable for work.
The feminine feel. Apply gel all-over your loose hair for a damp-looking finish. Hair should be slicked down flat against the scalp and structured thanks to a side parting which should look clean and neat. Pair with an intense make-up look such as a smoky eye and combine with your favorite LBD to turn heads on your big night out.
