3 styles for curly hair
Forget straightening for a second. Straight hair is not the only hair type that can enjoy sexy, trendy styles. Let your curls live their life and simply learn how to discipline them for easier styling.
Natural. For natural styling, you need shiny, healthy hair. Curly hair therefore needs to be looked after every day. Deeply nourish the ends and mid-lengths using masks and day creams. Let your hair shine by applying a serum. Then blow-dry your hair upside down to lift the roots. Avoid using your hair dryer’s highest power setting; this will relax the curl. Once you hair is dry, use your fingers to style and create a side-parting.
Bun. If you want to put your hair up, why not try a bun for a trendy, sophisticated style. Hydrate your ends and mid-lengths again before you start drying your hair, working it with your fingers. Once your hair is dry, take a wide-tooth comb and comb your hair back. Tie it into a ponytail and create your bun. Do this by twisting the lengths and rolling them around the base of the ponytail. Secure with an elastic hook (hook hairband).
Accessory. Sometimes a simple accessory is all that is needed to add a touch of originality to a simple style. This goes for everyone, whether you have short, mid-length or long hair. Wear an accessory with your hair down to decorate your style. Opt for a bow headband for a cute and sensible style, a diamante hair slide for a girly style, or oversized hair jewellery for a chic style.
