The Pros: the centre parting and bob combo
This bob will instantly give your look a retro feel; it’s perfect for any rock-chic outfit as well as bohemian looks too. Discover what our pros have to say on this classic cut and learn how to get the runway look for yourself.
Although this cut may appear stiff or unoriginal, the centre-parted bob is a timeless style for good reason. ‘This hairstyle has little movement, meaning it is perfect for more geometric or stricter looks which need a more classic shape. However, this bob will always be on-trend thanks to its versatility and unanimous popularity’.
According to our pro, you should have no trouble at all creating your centre parting. ‘This is one of the easiest tricks in the book. Our top tip? Make sure you create your parting in one full movement. To do this, brush all of your hair backwards with a paddle brush. Next, take a fine tooth comb and use the handle end to separate your hair both neatly and precisely. If your hair is curly, you can use the exact same technique, however this works best on damp hair for optimum results’.
Our advice: After creating your parting, spray with hairspray and comb either side once more. This will encourage your parting to stay put and ensure a longer-lasting hold.
