Streetstyle: the messy braid for a summer look
Her hairstyle. Romantic and girlie. The braid is perfect for long hair when it gets to summer. Our streetstyle of the day has decided to go for an irresistibly urban, messy braid. Her subtle dip dye is enhanced with her braid, which falls over her shoulder. To create a messy side braid, start with a centre-parting, backcomb your hair underneath for maximum volume and create a three-strand braid. Finish with a layer of hairspray for maximum hold.
Her look. Glam’rock. For this woman, it’s all about the little details. A denim shirt fastened at the top, a pleated waisted skirt and heeled leather boots for a hip and sexy style. A perfect look for a summer evening such as an open-air concert. As for accessories, the oversize bag and a host of bracelets complete the look.
Tip of the day. Want to create a braid but your hair isn’t long enough? Get extensions! Then you can try all of this summer’s trendiest variations of the braid!
