Streetstyle: looking after contrast highlights with frizz-prone hair

Frizz-prone hair naturally tends to be drier than other hair types. To keep your lengths looking healthy and in good condition, it’s important to hydrate and nourish your hair with the right shampoo and conditioning products. This is even more important if you’ve recently colored your hair or had some Contrast highlights from the Jean Louis David hair salons.

Her hair. An amazing mane of mid-length, thick hair which our streetstyle has picked and decided to compliment with some Contrast highlights to brighten up her lengths. Her centre parting and golden highlights are all ready for summertime and warmer days. To keep her color in tip top condition, she uses the Colour Therapy range to keep it looking vibrant. To prevent her hair from become brittle and dry, she varies this with products from the Hydra Therapy range. Alternating these two product ranges every time she washes her hair ensures her locks are healthy and keep their shine.

Her look. Very spring-like indeed! She’s excited about the sunny days ahead and has dug out some pieces from her summer wardrobe to celebrate the warmer weather. A white mini dress, cropped blue jacket and strappy sandals complement her caramel skin perfectly. Her shoulder bag and black sunglasses complete her feminine look.

Tip of the day. As well as shampooing hair regularly with the correct products, go to your salon every now and then to boost your shine and color and get your ends trimmed. Opt for a serum to keep your hair looking smooth and healthy on a daily basis.
