Spotlight on the short, curly hair trend
Looking for a short, on-trend cut that will suit your curly hair? Look no further! We’ve discovered the perfect style that is bursting with character, recently spotted on the Adam Selman Spring-Summer 2015 runway show at New York Fashion Week.
The trend. Short hair with lots of volume on the top and slightly short on the side. Hair was layered to add subtle movement. Sides were lightly curved to the shape of the head, creating a bowl effect around the face. As for the curls, these were well defined, glossy and fell forward onto the forehead. This hairstyle is both natural and feminine without looking old-fashioned thanks to its modern twist.
Who can wear short curly locks? Anybody who is tempted by short hair. This on-trend look is simple to style and cuts down on washing and drying time too! 5 minutes is all it takes each morning to get up and go. This cut will make curls appear in better condition and is perfect for every occasion and every wearer’s individual style. What’s more, you can easily change the shape and texture of this do. That’s right… why not try the boyish crop by straightening out your kinks, or slick back your shorter lengths for an evening look.
Get the runway look. Start by washing hair with Curl and Definition Shampoo from the Curl Therapy range. Your aim should be to deeply hydrate and nourish hair whilst adding shine. Next, dry with a diffuser upside down to encourage maximum volume. You can then use your fingertips to mold each curl into place; although don’t go overboard as the finished product should look natural and lightweight. To finish, spray all over with hairspray to keep everything firmly in place.
