SOS: how can I make my hair grow faster?
Do you dream of having super-long locks but can’t seem to make yours grow fast enough? Discover our top tips and tricks which will encourage hair to grow faster than ever…
A healthy scalp is the starting point for healthy, beautiful hair, regardless of length. The reason? This is the area where the skin holds your hair firmly in place at the root. Treat your scalp with a weekly mask enriched with keratin which will deeply nourish and moisturise skin. You can also help to stimulate hair growth by massaging your scalp in small circular motions, adding nutrients which will encourage your hair to grow faster. You can do this by adding a few drops of a vegetable-based oil (such as jojoba, keratin, almond or olive) to your fingertips to deeply hydrate the skin in this area.
Using products that have been specifically designed for your hair type and making regular appointments with your stylist for a trim will also encourage faster growth. This may seem to be defeating the point of growing your hair, yet trimming your ends will prevent further damage, meaning only a few inches need to be trimmed rather than several. Every 3 months is the ideal frequency to book your trim. Finally, a healthy and balanced lifestyle such as eating healthily and drinking lots of water will make hair grow faster whilst a good night’s sleep is also essential.
