Short side-hair spotted on the Viktor & Rolf runway

Thought that only women with long hair could wear their hair to one side? Think again! Try out this edgy look for an on-trend and glamorous end result.

This look was spotted on the Viktor & Rolf Autumn-Winter 2014-2015 runway at Paris Fashion Week. Side hair was styled with short bobs whilst lengths were lightly slicked backwards, without too much volume. These simple and elegant styles were paired with fresh-looking make-up that was natural and pared-back; perfect for showing off your features. This look is ideal for a day at the office or even an evening out with friends on the weekend.

Get the runway look by applying a small amount of heat-protective serum throughout your lengths, then straighten. Part your hair to one side, then gather the rest of your hair around onto the opposite side, tucking behind your ear neatly. Next, carefully place the opposite section by brushing towards the rear of the head. Pin any flyaways at the nape of the neck with bobby pins. Spray evenly all over with hairspray to ensure a long-lasting finish.
