How to create a faux bob

Share
Hot off the red carpets, the faux bob is a must-have hairstyle for an immaculate result this summer. You can try this style once your hair reaches your shoulders. It suits all hair types but a minimum amount of length is required for it to work.

Here's our step-by-step guide to creating a faux bob.

Step 1:

Use a comb to separate your hair into two sections, from one ear to the other. Section off the hair located at the back of your neck. Tie up the rest of your hair so it doesn't get in your way.

Step 2:

Create a low ponytail using the section you saved at the back of your neck. Secure fairly tightly using a hair band (preferably the same colour as your hair).

Step 3:

Once you've created the ponytail, take down the top section of your hair. Now tuck the ends into the hair band and secure with hair pins.

Step 4:

Apply a layer of hairspray to hold your new haircut in place!
