Combining nude make-up with wavy locks

Every woman wants to look on-trend and stylish. However, you need to learn how to mix and match different looks if you truly want to perfect your style. Certain make-up and hair trends are better suited to one another, and vice versa. You simply need to experiment! Let’s take a closer look at nude make-up combined with wavy lengths.

The trends. Nude make-up and wavy hair are a match made in heaven. Both are effortlessly natural and simple, whilst retaining a feminine feel. Nude make-up should look lightweight and is perfect for any summer occasion, from afternoon dips in the sea to an evening sipping cocktails with friends, just like wavy lengths! Soft curls will give your style a natural look.

Applying nude make-up. When you hear the words ‘nude make-up’ you should immediately think ‘lightweight’. Ditch harsh eye shadows, high coverage foundations and bold lipsticks. Your soft waves will look sublime with pared-back make-up. Start by applying a powder compact foundation, which is much lighter and fresher than liquid formulas. When it comes to eyes, a waterproof mascara is a must-have for swimming in the ocean and poolside swims. As for lips, after applying a super-hydrating lip balm, opt for a transparent gloss to make your pout shine. For a daytime look, this is all you need. For an evening look, add a smudge of eyeliner and sweep a warm blush shade over cheeks for a healthy flush.

Creating wavy locks. Try out different techniques for creating waves at home. Beach Spray and curling irons are your best friend. If you’d prefer to head to the salon, the Jean Louis David S-Wave service creates on-trend curls that last for up to 6 weeks. If you’re pressed for time and need a quick fix, go for the new Speed Curl service. For just 15 euros and 15 minutes of your time, you can create Hollywood-worthy waves.
