Add dimension to your style with the help of colour
The Marchesa runway models showed us how to do dimension on the Spring-Summer catwalks. Our expert reveals the top colouring techniques to create the same result in salon.
This colouring technique is called Lift Colour. It smoothes the hair and adds maximum dimension. Your natural base colour will be preserved and act as the darker tones. Roots and the nape of the neck are darker, whilst lengths are lightened. Several strands at the front of your style with be lightened, similar to the splash light technique. This combination of light and dark is ideal for thick hair types.
If this is the kind of dimension you want to re-create for yourself, head to your nearest Jean Louis David salon and book an appointment. Your stylist is the best person to inform you which treatment is best for your individual hair type. They will personalise your colour to suit your cut. Whichever technique you decide to go for, it will be 100% customised to create your desired end-result.
Our advice: Once you’re got your dream colour, make sure you look after it with products from the Colour Therapy range. Wash with Colour Intense shampoo to preserve shine and radiance.
