Hairstyle

3 things only women with short hair can get away with...

In love with your shorter style? As well as being on-trend and timeless, a short cut has a few other advantages which are often forgotten about. Discover what’s in store for you if you go for the chop this season.

Hitting the snooze button more than once (or twice)! Ahhh, the joys of being able to style your hair in less than 5 minutes flat! What better excuse is needed to press that snooze button a few times each morning? Once you get out of bed, there’s no need to worry about what to do with your hair; simply apply a styling product to dry or damp locks and voila! Another bonus? Shorter styles mean more variation. Try sweeping your hair backwards with a handful of gel to nail the slicked wet-look trend. Another alternative is to leave your hair free from any product, whether your natural hair is straight, curly or wavy, to create a more relaxed vibe that is both tomboyish and rock-n-roll.

Trying out a bold make-up look! When it comes to make-up, you can go to town with your look! Doe-eyed, smoky peepers or a statement red pout…shorter hair is one of the best styles to get you experimenting with your make-up and try something more feminine. Running late for work? Simply even out your complexion with some concealer, then add a few coats of mascara and complete your look with a slick of your favorite lipstick. Even if you decided to opt for a nude look, having a shorter style such as a boyish crop will instantly add a chic vibe to your outfit.

Wearing statement accessories! One of the greatest advantages of rocking a short style is that you can play around with accessories more. Thanks to your neck and décolleté area being opened up, you can add some bold accessories to liven up your style. Bejewelled earrings, chunky hoops and dangly pendants were made for your short hairstyle. Customize your look and bring your outfit up to date with some daring accessories.
