3 hairstyles for the world cup final
Are you one of the many women who has caught football fever during the world cup? Getting excited to watch this year’s final with friends? Pull on your football shirts and discover which hairstyle will complete your sporty look.
The low-slung ponytail. Similar to the Jason Wu catwalk pictured, this style will instantly open up your face and ensure your hair stays out of your eyes for watching the big game. If your hair is on the long side, this style was made for you! Create a centre parting and gather your hair into a ponytail at the base of the neck. Secure with a hair tie to make sure each and every strand stays firmly in place. This type of style means you won’t need to touch up your hair throughout the evening. Game on!
The half-ponytail. The half-ponytail is perfect for all hair types and lengths and keeps hair out of your face. As well as looking incredibly feminine, this style doesn’t require frequent touch ups and creates an elegant look. After washing hair, gather the crown section of hair from the top of your head and sweep backwards. Take a few bobby pins to secure your style in place, meaning you can enjoy the 90 minutes of football action without any annoying strands coming loose. Worried about flyaways? Add a small amount of gel to add shine and strong hold.
The French braid. This summer-inspired style is ideal for when temperatures start to soar. You can easily create this style, providing that your hair is around shoulder length. The French braid starts from the roots and captures every single strand of hair. Divide hair into 3 equal sections, starting from the roots. Cross an outer section over the centre, then repeat on the opposite side. Continue this process until you reach the ends, then secure with a hair tie. All you need to do now is sit back and watch the game unfold!
