3 hairstyle ideas for curly locks
Is your hair curly and are you searching for new ways to liven up your regular hairstyle? Look no further than our 3 on-trend picks, inspired by the Spring-Summer 2015 Fashion Week runways.
Hollywood-esque side-hair. This style was spotted on the Jean Paul Gautier runway and works great when created with mid-length to long hair. Get the catwalk look and start by parting your hair to one side in a low parting, then gathering the rest of your locks and resting on the opposite shoulder, allowing it to fall naturally onto your bust. The final touch is added thanks to a playful curl right at the front to create a retro-glam feel.
The short bob. Fall in love with the jaw-length bob this season. This hairstyle frames the face whilst adding volume to curly hair. Make like the models on the Vivienne Westwood catwalk and wear with hair parted to one side, free from bangs, to open up your forehead. This style is simple and quick to create and is ideal for a working-day. Pair with a sophisticated outfit for a feminine and flirty feel.
The high ponytail. This look is perfect for making the most of your curls whilst adding a chic feel to your style. Re-create the look for yourself by gathering your locks at the top of the head, then secure with a discreet hair tie. Your roots should appear slicked down to the head whilst your ends should be loose and hang free. Add a small amount of gel to the front section of your style then spray with hairspray. Similar to the Yuna Yang runway models, you can style your high ponytail to one side for an asymmetric, elegant end-result.
