Which wedding hats to go for
You´re heading to a wedding this summer. You´ve already chosen your outfit, shoes and jewellery, but you´re having trouble deciding on a hat. Fascinator, veil hat or XXL hat, remember that just about anything goes when it comes to weddings!
The fascinator. The fascinator has been back for a few years now. This ultra-20s hair accessory has made a comeback for women looking for subtle headwear. Whether you choose a headband version or a floral version, choose it to enhance your outfit, not to outshine it. The fascinator is generally worn with a side parting and placed on the opposite side of the parting. Go for wavy hair for the most enviable hairstyle!
The veil hat. Out of respect for the bride, avoid wearing white but why not go for pastels? This is the most subtle option in terms of hats and is the perfect complement for a romantic outfit. To enhance your veil hat, opt for a retro, crimped hairstyle, both feminine and elegant.
The XXL hat. If you´re a close friend or family member of the bride or groom, by all means, go all out. And if you really want to go the whole hog, then bright colours are perfect! A wedding is the ideal opportunity to wear a fancy hat that adds freshness and originality to your style. Whether it brightens up a dark outfit or complements a colourful dress, there simply is no better accessory. In terms of hairstyles, opt for a bohemian half ponytail for a romantic touch.
