Each summer, the floral headband seems to decorate the head of every fashionista and create a romantic and relaxed feel. In fact, the floral headband is a very old tradition and was considered to be an adorning object or ceremonial gesture (it’s a sign of welcome in Tahiti) or even a gift to charm an admirer.  Nevertheless, this trend hit its peak in the middle ages. At the time, making these wreathes was considered to be a profession in itself!
 
Over the centuries, the floral crown slowly became less and less popular, yet resurfaced in the 20^th century especially the 60s and 70s thanks to the hippy movement. Nowadays, not a Fashion Week goes by without it making an appearance! There’s nothing unusual about completing your look with this on-trend, timeless accessory.
