The wet look for men spotted on the runway

This summer trend for women is fast becoming an on-trend look for guys. The wet-look is becoming increasingly popular for men's summer hairstyles and is set to become a must-have this season. The recent Les Hommes runway show was awash with wet-look hairstyles, so why not take direct inspiration from the catwalk and try this look for yourself?

Long gone are the days when men simply used a small morsel of gel to style their hair each morning. Today, men's hair requires much more upkeep and maintenance to ensure their style looks chic and groomed. After seeing the undercut and dip-dye trends being the top looks for the last couple of season's, it's now the wet-look's turn. This on-trend style creates high-shine and a damp-looking finish, perfect for emulating sexy beach hair.

To re-create this catwalk look, your hair will need to be a certain length. Once you have washed your hair, comb through thoroughly, then part to one side. Comb down your hair on the opposite side, keeping it as close to your head as possible. Not a hair should be out of place in order to truly capture the slick-look of the original. For the finishing touch, run a high-shine product throughout your entire style. Fiber Gel is perfect for creating a wet-look finish. Warm a nut-sized amount of product in your palms, then distribute evenly throughout hair.
