The tallest mohican at 1.13m high!
The 2013 edition of the Guinness World Records has just been published and with it, a brand new record: the tallest mohican in the world! The record is held by Japanese stylist Kazuhiro Watanabe, whose Iroquois mohican reaches 1.13m.
The 40-year old man showcased his hairstyle last week in a park in New York. What a skyscraping style! To achieve this result, Kazuhiro Watanabe grew his hair out for 15 years. But that’s not all it took for him to achieve this titanesque mohican. It takes his stylists two hours to put the style into place, as well as a tube of gel and three cans of hairspray. When left natural, his hair reaches down to his knees!
The previous record holder was a German whose mohican was a ‘mere’ 80cm tall. The Japanese stylist beat this record in January 2011, but it wasn’t until this year that he managed to make the Guinness World Records.
If Kazuhiro Watanabe ever decides to cut his hair, he can rest assured that there will be someone to take his place; his 10-year old daughter has already said that one day she will try to beat her father’s record!
