The Style Bar, exclusive to
Jean Louis David salons, has recently added two new up-dos for autumn-winter 2014-2015. Be prepared to see a lot more styles emerging from the Style Bar over the seasons to come!
For
winter 2015, Jean Louis David has developed two new up-do hairstyles. ‘One is inspired from the 60s era, whilst the other is similar to the Speed Up-Do service thanks to its double braid. These two very different hairstyles do have one thing in common, however: volume at the roots. The aim was to find something that was visually quite similar in terms of height at the crown’.
Each of these hairstyles take inspiration from very different sources. ‘The half-ponytail look is clearly inspired by the 60s. Although it may look fairly simple to style, this half-up half-down style has a sophisticated finish. The second look, the double braid, has a distinctly chic finish compared to the two other braids available at the Style Bar. These braids are ideal for an evening event. The first braid is plaited to one side, whilst the second is braided down the middle’.
Want to try out these new looks for yourself? ‘If you have an important meeting, a night out with friends planned or even a wedding to attend, head to your Jean Louis David salon with clean hair. Next, choose which style you want your stylist to create. In just 15 minutes, and for only 15 euros, you can step out of the salon with a professional-looking hairstyle’.
Our advice: If you’re tempted by the double braid,
make sure that your hair is fairly thick. For the half-ponytail, you don’t need to worry about your hair type. If your locks are fine, don’t worry. The main thing is that you already have existing
layers.
