Streetstyle: work a 60s-inspired look

Share
Her hair. A long, shoulder-length bob with a fringe worthy of a 60s style icon. The fringe is a crucial part to this look as it creates an intense frame around the eyes. Your fringe should be fairly long, or at least touching your eyebrows for maximum effect and to make the color of your eyes stand out. As well as being long, you should aim to create a full-bodied, voluminous version. Every morning, take a round barrel brush, then blast on the hot setting of your hairdryer whilst twisting inwards.

Her look. Her look is just as 60s inspired as her hair. Our streetstyle pick today is wearing printed trousers combined with a plain white T-shirt and black leather jacket. The final touch lies in her statement white handbag. In terms of her makeup, her pout is a colorful shade of hot pink whilst her eyes are rimmed with kohl pencil for an intense look.

Tip of the day. Our streetstyle wearer has decided to wear her fringe in a choppy style, however don’t try and attempt this effect at home with a pair of scissors! Make sure you go to your salon to let the professionals take care of your style. Ideally, if you’re after a 60s fringe, you should aim for an eyebrow skimming fringe.
