Streetstyle: side-swept and accessorised
Side-swept styles are a huge trend right now. More and more women are sporting them every day and looking for ways to make their hairstyle look unique and original. This is the case with our streetstyle of the day, who chose to wrap a scarf around her head for a chic and urban touch.
Her hairstyle. Long and side-swept. To create her style, she created a neat side parting in order to bring all her hair over to one side. Her hair is placed nonchalantly over one shoulder for a glamorous, seductive effect. She has tied a scarf around the top of the style for an edgy touch. Go for a colourful, printed scarf and tie into a neat bow.
Her look. Chic and bohemian. Our streetstyle of the day has opted for a long, loose dress that gives her a chic, laid-back feel. To counter the classic effect brought by the white dress, she has chosen dark accessories in the form of cork wedges with a black bow to match her bag. This jewellery-free look is as simple as it is elegant.
Tip of the day. This hairstyle only works on healthy, well-maintained hair. So make sure you look after your hair. Head to the salon regularly to have your ends trimmed. Use hydrating shampoos and masks at home.
