Nail the sports-chic look with a headband

The sportswear trend has arrived on the runway shows at Fashion Weeks... just take a look at the Yerse Spring-Summer 2015 catwalk. Why not give this style a go for an on-trend and relaxed take on dressing this summer.

The trend. Models were styled with sleek ponytails, given structure thanks to a low-lying parting. This simple style enables all the attention to be focused on the headband. This accessory was worn close to the forehead and covering the ears slightly, just like a few top sports' players. What better way to perfect your woman tennis look and show you’re ready for action? However, don’t worry about looking overly-sporty as this version looked elegant thanks to fresh-faced make-up and a casual, feminine outfit.

Who can wear the sports-chic headband? Anybody who wants to feel relaxed yet in control. In fact, the key word with this look is comfort! You won’t need to worry about hair getting in your way as it will be held securely in place whilst your outfit can be loose-fitting and uber-practical.

Get the runway look. Start by washing hair with Nutrition and Shine shampoo from the Hydra Therapy range. Dry carefully then create a side parting. Gather at the nape of the neck with the help of a hairbrush and secure into a low ponytail. Spray all over with hairspray for a long-lasting hold. All that remains is to place our headband to give your outfit the on-trend, sports-chic finish.
