My Olympics hairstyle
The London Olympics commence on the 27th of July and all eyes are going to be on those athletes. Want to show your support? To make sure you don’t miss out during these Olympics, go for a messy-look, pulled-back style!
Models on the Max Mara catwalks have been rocking the dreadlocks for an urban-chic look. Despite what you might think, dreadlocks don’t have to leave your hair looking unkempt and unwashed. The best thing about this hairstyle is that once in place, it will stay in place!
To create this hairstyle, start by pinning up the top of your hair so that you can work on the underneath. Separate your hair into several sections of the same thickness and twist throughout the lengths. Apply a heat-protector spray, then heat up your twists to hold them in place. Do the same on the top section of your hair, starting the twist from the roots. Once your whole hair is twisted, gather it into a half-ponytail at the back of your head. Finish with a layer of hairspray.
