My chic hairstyle for a last-minute invitation
We’ve all been there. You receive a last-minute invite to cocktails or a meal with friends and you haven’t a clue how to style your hair. There’s no way you can turn up with a simple style that took seconds to create. This time, you want something that screams sophistication and elegance.
Why not try out the braided crown? This look is easy to hatch and instantly creates a feminine and elegant feel. Want to learn how to braid your own crown? Starting from the left ear, separate your hair into 3 sections and start braiding horizontally. As you move upwards, start incorporating strands from outside your braid to thicken the width. Your braid should go from one ear to the next. Once you’ve completed the plait, pin into place with bobby pins and spray with hairspray for a long-lasting finish.
If you’re running late, or simply find this technique too tricky, you should head straight to your nearest Jean Louis David salon and take advantage of the Speed Up-Do service. In just 15 short minutes and for 15 euros, your stylist will create a beautiful braided crown. Simply turn up to your appointment with clean hair and get ready to wow your friends!
