Messy locks…for daytime too?
This season, why not give messy locks a go during the daytime? This trend was spotted on the Zadig & Voltaire Autumn-Winter 2014-2015 runway show at Paris Fashion Week. Here are our top tips to nailing this tricky look and to avoid looking like you just rolled out of bed!
The trend for messier hair will add a breath of fresh air and instantly modernize your total outfit. Similar to the models on the Zadig & Voltaire runway, combine your messy style with a casual-chic look for a more relaxed feel. Our top tip? Be bold and pair your undone do with a super sophisticated tux suit or LBD. The contrast between smart and casual will create an elegant, daring and modern feel.
Although this hairstyle appears low-maintenance and simple to style, getting the messy trend right takes precision. Start by treating your hair to Nutrition and Suppleness from the Hydra Therapy range, washing gently under the shower. Next, apply a heat-protective spray onto your lengths before straightening. For added volume, shake some Texture Powder into the roots. To get that undone, effortless effect, add a tiny amount of gel to your fingertips and scrunch throughout the lengths to mess things up slightly, finishing with a layer of hairspray. In just under 10 minutes you now have a wild, on-trend style that is full of life and character.
