Juliette’s most radical hairstyle change
“For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a bob. Even though I think long hair represents femininity, I’ve never had the patience or the courage to let mine grow, because it’s often difficult to style hair when it’s in the in-between stage. My bob comes down to my mouth, not an inch above or below.
Then, one day I saw a young woman with gorgeous, long brown hair. I was fascinated and so jealous! And that’s what did it for me. Why should I deprive myself of this pleasure when I can get fabulous long hair in just a few hours?
After doing a bit of research on extensions, I decided to go to a Jean Louis David salon, because they use the cold fusion technique, which doesn’t involve glue or resin and therefore doesn’t damage your hair. The hairdresser then explained that the hair, which is of course 100% natural, is blended into my own hair using small, round links.
I went in with short hair and came out three hours later with gorgeous, sleek long hair. And, thanks to the extensions, not only is my hair longer, it’s fuller as well! The result is ultra-natural. You can’t tell the difference between my real hair and the extensions as the colours are so close.
The first thing I did when I left the salon was go out with the girls to test my new hair’s power of seduction. And I wasn’t disappointed, that’s all I’ll say! I look after my hair at home and visit my hairdresser once a month to check that all is well.”
