Hair care
I've tested Keratin Therapy at home
After testing (and loving!) Keratin Therapy in salons, I wanted to prolong the benefits of keratin-based treatments at home. In the salon four products are applied one after another. But only three products are sold for at-home use. And you don’t necessarily need all of these products! It all depends on your hair type and what your hairdresser advises.
For me, it’s the clarifying shampoo and thermo-active treatment. As I have fine and fragile hair, there’s no point in me investing in the mask as it would just weigh down my delicate hair.
When I’m in the shower, I start by wetting my hair then applying a small amount of product to my hair. I massage my scalp so that the product foams and also to relax my scalp (and me!). Then I rinse it out thoroughly.
Once I’ve towel-dried my hair, I take my thermo-active spray and spray it directly onto my damp hair. This boosts my hair and prolongs the effects of the wash. I distribute it evenly throughout my hair then go on to blow-dry and style.
Result: my hair is softer and shinier, just like it is when I leave the hairdresser’s. I can now create the same professional result at home. Fabulous!
