How to nourish your hair this winter

During winter, hair can quickly become statically charged and stand on end regularly. This is normal, as the outdoor temperatures play havoc with our locks. Discover how to keep static at bay and nourish your lengths, even when the thermometer reads below zero…

The winter season can be a real shock to the system for your hair. ‘When wearing a hat, hair tends to become greasy quicker than it normally would whilst lengths can become damaged due to rubbing against coarse winter coats and scarves’.

Luckily, there are a few miracle products which will sort out your problems in no time! ‘Dry shampoo is your best friend when wearing a beanie hat, whilst Control Therapy Shampoo is ideal for treating greasy roots at the heart of the problem. On a day-to-day basis, try using the Jean Louis David Ionic brush. This will leave hair silky soft and shiny whilst eliminating static’.

Is your hair more on the dry side? ‘Opt for nourishing products and start using a serum to add shine. Thought glossy hair was impossible during winter? Think again!’

Our advice: You only need to think about modifying your current haircare routine if you regularly wear hats or find that your hair falls flat during the cooler months. If this doesn’t sound like you, try taking supplements such as multivitamins to boost your hair’s natural radiance and vitality from the inside.
