3 hairstyles for girls in a hurry

We’re often in a huge rush in the morning. And even though we’d love to try out different hairstyles every day, sometimes we simply haven’t got the time. For trendy, quick-fix hairstyles, take a look at our three ideas for girls in a hurry!

Tousled down-do. It’s all about tousled hair on the catwalks for A/W 2012-13. Either drastically dishevelled for a neo-grunge style or gently ruffled for a neo-romantic look. To create this look, dry your hair with a hairdryer, working your fingers through it as you go. Next, arrange your hair as you like, leaving it down. If you’re after a straighter result, use a brush when drying instead of your fingers.

The low ponytail. The ponytail has got everyone’s vote on the runways once again. For a flawless imitation of this A/W’s trend, it should be worn low and super straight. But when you’re in a rush, straightening your whole hair isn’t always an option. So, forget ultra-straight, and instead go for a gently tousled ponytail. Blow-dry your hair, working your fingers as you go, and pull your hair into a low ponytail. Position it perfectly in the centre and wrap a piece of hair around the base to cover the hair band. To finish, pull out a few pieces of hair to frame your face.

The twisted half-ponytail. Really simple and very quick, this half-ponytail requires hair to be left down and wavy for an oh-so-seventies look. To achieve this style, take two pieces of hair from the front and twist to the ends, pulling them back. Secure using a hair grip or small elastic hair band.
