Scrunched-up hair is one of
this spring-summer season's key styles. Looking for the halfway point between straight and wavy? Then get scrunching for a cool and elegant effect.
Scrunched-up hair. This season it's time to say goodbye to straight, sensible styles and give a warm welcome to
roughed-up hair. But don't go OTT, or you'll end up with a
neo-grunge style. Scrunching up your hair is an easy way to give your haircut
volume and texture. And you can give it go on both short and long hair. It looks great on all hairstyles and can be worn during the day or for a night out thanks to its chic, laid-back feel.
How to get scrunched-up hair. Hair must be clean and still damp. First, give your hair some texture by
applying a styling mousse for added body and thickness. Next, blow-dry your hair with your head upside down using a
round brush. This will help you achieve more volume. Leave your hair slightly damp. Start styling by inserting rollers at the top of your head then create a tight chignon at the ends. Blow-dry your whole head and gently release your hair. To maximise the scrunched-up effect, heat some sculpting mousse in the palm of your hands before applying to your lengths.
