The eye-obscuring fringe spotted on the catwalk
Runway hairstyles can serve as great inspiration, and some of them are even wearable. This is the case for the eye-obscuring fringe spotted on the Erdem runway show. The question is, how can you style this look for a day at your office job? Let us show you how.
On the runway, the models strutted their stuff effortlessly, as if there was no hair in their eyes whatsoever. Torn dresses, impossibly high stilettos and hair styled across their faces; nothing fazes these girls! The Erdem runway hairstyles weren’t your average catwalk hairstyle. Hair was swept over the eyes, in a haphazard manner. Structure was not needed to create this messy look…the aim was to create bedhead-esque hair that requires minimal styling.
Keen to try out the grunge feel of this innovative style? You’re in luck, as the technique couldn’t be simpler! Rather than brushing your hair neatly backwards, sweep the front section over your eyes. For an edgier feel, bring sections of hair from the left of your face over to the right and vice versa. Next, tie your hair up into whichever style you prefer, whether you opt for a low-lying chignon or a high ponytail. Make your eye-obscuring fringe shine with a few pumps of Shine Spray to targeted sections.
